People Places Working Group

To ensure Port Coogee is in tune with local opinion and local needs, Australand formed the People Places Working Group (PPWG).

The PPWG – made up of local community members - provides valuable input to project planning with an emphasis on actively promoting community and economic benefits.

Australand Coogee Jetty to Jetty Swim

Australand is proud to sponsor the annual Coogee Jetty to Jetty Swim organised by the Spearwood AUSSI Masters Swimming Club and the Rotary Club of Cockburn.

The swim takes place in the sheltered water between Coogee Beach and Woodman Point in early March each year.

The popular event combines a 1.5km walk and 1.5km swim with competitors ranging from eight to 85 years old.

City of Cockburn Summer of Fun

Australand is proud to participate in the annual City of Cockburn Summer of Fun event series.

In 2010, we once again sponsored the family festival at Coogee Beach on Sunday 21 March – a beach party featuring free rides, roving entertainment and a host of fun activities including the Australand Sand Castle Competition.
